The first things I replaced were the front tires and battery.  The old tires were rotten and the battery had a bad cell.

Now car looks better without flat tires and the engine has enough cranking power but still wouldn't start. nothing, not even with starter fluid

After blowing out all the old gas before the fuel filter and flushing with two more gallons of new fuel I replaced the  fuel pump and filters.

Replaced the coil and broke the accelerator cable.

 COIL $14.99

ACCELERATOR CABLE $31.53

Absolutely no change !!

I measured the voltage between the + terminal on the coil and engine block and the volt meter read 0 volts.
